Believing rumors about The Affordable Care Act (“ACA”) can be costly for grocers. For example, many companies mistakenly believed that ACA wouldn’t be enforced, but the IRS has recently started sending out penalty letters for the 2015 tax year. We have heard of penalties ranging from $40,000 to upwards of $2 million.
